CareGuide is an app built to facilitate Centre for Senior’s volunteers in performing their voluntary activities.

*Register to be a CFS volunteer
Interested volunteers can register to be a volunteer at the branches of Centre for Senior. There will be an orientation program that prepares you for the voluntary activities and familiarise yourself with the friendly environment at Henderson Home. When you are done with that, you are all set to find yourself the best voluntary trip that suits your time and needs!
*Find activities near you
CareGuide is able to pinpoint the user’s current location to show all available opportunities in the vicinity. Users will be able to see the estimated distance and driving time from his current location to the activity. CareGuide also provides a link to google maps if users need specific navigation details.
*Explore for opportunities
Volunteers will be able to see all available activities on the same page and word search for relevant activities. In addition, CareGuide allows volunteers to filter activities based on start location, end location or time for easier viewing.
*Live update of your activity status
CareGuide helps you to keep track with all the activities you have applied and informs you of the activity statuses.
Update transport status of activity
Volunteers will be able to update transport activity status on CareGuide during the activity. In this way, staff at Henderson Home will be able to keep track of your current transport status.
*Added help: Feedback and Help

About Us
Founded in 2006, the Centre For Seniors (CFS) is a non-profit, Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO) that is committed to promoting the total well-being of older persons in Singapore, specifically their vocational, financial and psycho-social health.
The Centre For Seniors manages training programmes, activities, and projects that help promote an active ageing culture in Singapore. The main goals are to advocate ageing with dignity, and fostering a society which enables seniors to continue to be gainfully employed.

CareGuide Programme
The volunteers will be accompanying the elderly to and through their medical appointment. Volunteers will use their own mode of transport (some medical appointments are of walking distance!) to bring the elderly there and assist the elderly to their appointments. This programme serves to ease the manpower shortage at Henderson Home
